Camden Rockport Middle School students to showcase hands-on learning during PBL Week
CAMDEN — During the week of November 16, 2026, Camden Rockport Middle School (CRMS) will host a series of Celebrations of Learning, highlighting interdisciplinary Project-Based Learning (PBL) units completed by students in grades 5, 6, and 7.
Unlike traditional, end-of-unit assignments, Project-Based Learning at CRMS serves as the core instruction mechanism—the "main course" rather than the "dessert," according to a CRMS news release.
"Through hands-on, authentic projects, students acquire critical academic content and skills by addressing real-world questions, collaborating with peers, and creating work designed for authentic audiences beyond the classroom walls," said CRMS.
