Belfast Police beat
BELFAST — Belfast Police reported issuing 11 traffic citations between April 9-14. Of the 11 traffic infractions, six were issued for failure to register a vehicle, two for inspection sticker violations, and one citation each for failure to stop at a stop sign, operating with an expired license, and using a handheld device while operating a vehicle. In addition to 11 traffic infractions, Belfast Police reported five arrests and one summons, including the following activity.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles age 17-or-younger are not named.
April 10
Albert Russell, 37, was arrested for aggravated criminal trespass and violating conditions of release on Ryan Road.
Diana R. Blood, 35, was arrested for aggravated criminal trespass on Ryan Road.
April 12
Heath Prior, 36, of Cushing, was arrested for possession of a schedule W drug, burglary of a motor vehicle, and theft on Union Street.
William C. Whitcomb, 39, of Monroe, was arrested for failure to appear.
Kevin Nickerson, 53, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating with an expired license (over 90 days) on Northport Ave.
Ashley M. Heeter, 33, of Belfast, was arrested for failure to appear.
