Belfast Police beat: theft, OUI, filing a false report

    BELFAST — The Belfast Police Department reported the following activity Oct. 5-30. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    Aug. 14 (late entry)

    David J. Buchanan, 36, of Surry, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation on Route 1.

    Sept. 16 (late entry)

    Allison D. Gross, 37, of Morrill, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation on Shepherd Road.

    Sept. 25  (late entry)

    Jody M. Harvey, 32, of Brooks, was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle (30-150 days) on City Point Road.

    Oct.  5

    Philip S. Cook, 24, of Lincolnville, was issued a summons for speeding 59 mph in a 45 mph zone on Back Searsport Road.

    Oct. 15

    Kyle K. White, 25, of Searsmont, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Front Street.

    Oct. 16

    Jesse L. Rishani, 30, of Prospect, was issued a summons for speeding 49 mph in a 35 mph zone on Route 1.

    Oct. 17

    Rebecca Huffman, 19, of Belfast, was issued a summons for filing a false police report. 

    Oct. 18

    Anthony P. Hessert, 58, of Lamoine, was issued a summons for speeding 54 mph in a 45 mph zone on Searsport Avenue.

    Oct. 19

    Astin Merry, 31, of Searsport, was arrested for unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on Main Street.

    Oct. 21

    Faye H. Hammond, 58, of Frankfort, was arrested for operating under the influence and operating without license (beyond conditions/restrictions) on High Street.

    Dylan R. Keller, 25, of Freedom, was arrested for operating under the influence on High Street.

    Oct. 23

    Cameron Philbrook, 41, of Belfast, was arrested for domestic violence assault on Blue Bird Circle.

    Oct. 24

    Derreck D. Maxcy, 36, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Swan Lake Avenue.

    Oct. 26

    Jeremiah Gilkey, 24, of Searsport, was arrested for violating conditions of release, theft by deception, and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer at Hannaford.

    Laura E. Merry, 25, of Searsport, was arrested for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer at Hannaford.

    Oct. 27

    Jeffrey A. Thomas, 24, of Belfast, was arrested for disorderly conduct and criminal conduct on Swan Lake Avenue. 

    Oct. 28

    Justin D. Shute, 36, of Belfast, was arrested for aggravated domestic violence criminal mischief and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person on Andrew Lane. 

    Elizabeth M. Killby, 37, of Belfast, was arrested for violating conditions of release (two charges).
