Bangor bests Camden Hills boys soccer

ROCKPORT — The Camden Hills varsity boys soccer team hosted the Bangor Rams on Thursday, Oct. 4 and were defeated 5-2. 

With the loss, the Windjammers fell to 4-6 on the season. 

The Windjammers will host Edward Little on Saturday, Oct. 6 for its next contest at 3:30 p.m.

In the Thursday game, Jacob Henry recorded a hat trick, while Colin Waterman and Josh Sherwood found the back of the net for the Rams. 

For the Windjammers, Ben Owre and Michael Blackwell both found the back of the net. Owre also contributed an assist. 

In the goalie net for the Windjammers, Matt Kremin had nine saves while Austin Conway had 11 for Bangor. 

The Windjammers held a 13-10 advantage in shots.

The Rams held a 2-1 advantage in corners.
