Camden Hills boys soccer blanks Hampden

HAMPDEN — The Camden Hills varsity boys soccer team hit the road Friday, Sept. 16 and earned itself a shutout victory over Hampden Academy. 

Will Eggena started the scoring at the 28:58 mark of the first half with a header off a corner kick. Cam Brown scored five minutes later with a well placed shot to the lower corner to give the Windjammers a 2-0 halftime lead.

Seven minutes into the second half, Jasper Hackett scored a knockdown goal and then another with 17:36 to play.

Roan Aldridge-Peacock closed the scoring with a screamer from the top of the 18 with 15:06 to play to give Camden Hills a 5-0 victory. 

Brian Leonard earned the shutout in net for the 'Jammers making several quality saves.
