Event Date
Wednesday, April 01, 2026 - 07:30 pmAlice Limoges will perform for Blue Café on April 1, at 7:30 p.m., at the Camden Opera House.
Born and raised in coastal Maine, Alice Limoges was singing before she could walk, with roots in the folk, jazz, and rock traditions of her childhood.
"After seven years immersed in the New York City music scene, she returned to Maine in 2020, carrying with her a distinct voice, visceral songwriting, and the spirit of a classic troubadour," said an Opera House news release. "Alice crafts poetic songs exploring love, hope, protest, homecoming, and mental health, drawing listeners into the intimate, vulnerable space of her original music whether performing solo or in collaboration."
Limoges has released seven independent albums and EPs, with her song “No One Underneath” earning semifinalist honors in the 2019 International Songwriting Competition, and she contributed to Jon Samson’s Grammy Award–winning album Ageless: Songs For The Child Archetype. In 2025, she released the EP Build The Walls Higher and the collaborative single Northern Maine with Anthony Cann, which charted in WERU’s top 30 for multiple weeks, followed by the protest single For Alex and Renee.
Her journey has taken her to stages such as The Cutting Room and Rockwood Music Hall in NYC, festivals and colleges across the Northeast, and Maine venues including the All-Roads Music Festival, Sweet Chariot Music Festival, The Strand Theater, and Camden Opera House.
Beyond performing, Limoges mentors aspiring artists through personalized music lessons for singer-songwriters ages 2 to 82, blending technical skill with storytelling, and she continually shares new work with her creative community on Patreon— "bringing beauty and vulnerability into everything she does," according to the news release.
