Waldoboro Police beat: Aggravated criminal mishief, stolen checks
WALDOBORO — Waldoboro police responded to 299 calls for service from Nov. 30-Dec. 8. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
Nov. 30
Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated an accident on Washington Road at 5:08 p.m. Evan Morrison, 36, of Somerville, was driving a 2015 Toyota pickup truck. Morrison was traveling south on Washington Road when a deer crossed the roadway and he struck the deer. No injuries were reported.
Yancey Harvey, 43, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Bartunek for terrorizing and criminal mischief.
A 13-year-old male juvenile was issued a summons by Bartunek for aggravated criminal mischief.
Dec. 1
Bartunek is investigating a harassment complaint from a resident.
Dec. 3
Officer William Bragg is investigating a theft complaint from the Waldoboro Public Library.
Dec. 4
Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a harassment complaint from a resident.
Bartunek is investigating a theft of checks complaint from a resident.
Fuller is investigating a burglary and theft complaint from a resident.
