Waldoboro Police beat: Arrest warrants, operating after suspension, shoplifting
WALDOBORO - Waldoboro police responded to 299 calls for service from Nov. 2-9. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
Nov. 2
Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report from the Smoke Shop of a shoplifter.
Fuller is investigating a report of a possible burglary and criminal mischief to the AD Gray School.
Nov. 4
Daniel Morse, 47, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Officer Larry Hesseltine on a warrant.
Bronson Simmons, 27, of Rockport, was arrested by Officer Chris Spear on a warrant.
Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated an accident on Friendship Road at 7:24 p.m. Daniel Willey, 22, of Friendship, was driving a 2015 Toyota pickup truck. Willey’s vehicle was travelling south while he was using a cell phone. The vehicle went off roadway on the right and struck a mailbox. No injuries were reported.
Nov. 5
Jack Randall, 56, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Hesseltine on a warrant.
Bartunek investigated a harassment complaint from a resident. The other party was found and warned on harassment.
Nov. 6
Brandon Jimenez-Roberts, 23, of Owls Head, was issued a summons by Hesseltine for uninspected vehicle.
Nov. 7
Wesley Grenrose, 24, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Hesseltine for failure to show proof of insurance and unregistered motor vehicle.
Bruce Cunningham, 27, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Hesseltine for displaying fictitious inspection sticker.
Nov. 8
Thomas Walker, 41, of Pemiquid, was issued a summons by Hesseltine for uninspected motor vehicle.
Jerry Ireland, 39, of Swansville, was issued a summons by Hesseltine for operating after suspension and uninspected motor vehicle.
Mark Fowler, 21, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Hesseltine for imprudent speed.
Hesseltine is investigating a report from a resident of the theft of money.
Nov. 9
Hesseltine is investigating a report from a resident of the theft of a generator.
Hesseltine is investigating a report from the Big Apple of a $47.80 gasoline drive off.
