Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases
ROCKLAND- The following cases were closed in Knox County Criminal Court from Oct. 13-16. The Unified Criminal Court is a new system for processing criminal actions and certain associated civil violation actions. It is expected to increase efficiency by eliminating the duplicative clerical workload created by the current system of case transfer between the District and Superior Court by reducing the number of court appearances required to process individual cases, according to the State of Maine Judicial Branch.

Jeffrey C. Calden, 31, of Winthrop, violating condition of release, 48 hours in jail.
Sarah L. Havener, 29, of Camden, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, priors, 90 days in jail, $341.68 restitution; misuse of identification, four counts, 30 days in jail; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, two counts, 90 days in jail; driving to endanger, $575.00 fine, license suspended 30 days; burglary of a motor vehicle, 30 days in jail; unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine, 30 days in jail; violating condition of release, 30 days in jail; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, priors, six months in jail; burglary, three years in jail with all but six months suspended, probation two years, restitution $341.68; trafficking in prison contraband, 30 days in jail.
Anthony Langille, 47, of Waldoboro, violating condition of release, 30 days in jail.
Jared S. Lea, 36, of Union, operating under the influence, $500 fine, 72 hours in jail, license suspended 150 days.
Hilary A. Long, 30, of Warren, operating under the influence, $500 fine, license suspended 150 days; violating condition of release, seven days in jail.
Kenneth W. McIntyre, 37, of Rockland, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, 14 days in jail, $6.94 restitution; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, priors, dismissed.
Justin McLellan, 34, of Thomaston, fishing for or taking shellfish from closed area, prior, $750.00 fine.
Taylor A. Shields, 21, of Cushing, failing to stop for officer, $500 fine; operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, dismissed.
William R. Snow, 36, of Belfast, possession of marijuana, up to 1 ¼ ounce, $550.00 fine.
Joel F. Swain, 39, of St. George, criminal mischief, 30 days in jail; disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures, 30 days in jail; domestic violence assault, 364 days in jail, probation two years; refusing to submit to arrest or detention, physical force, 30 days in jail.
Lauren A. Tozier, 43, of Warren, violating condition of release, two counts, 14 days in jail.
Joshua J. Weston, 33, of Rockland, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, priors, nine months in jail, restitution $99.20.
