Mythic Heart Theatre will present Spring Awake! Friday, May 9; Saturday, May 10; and Friday, May 16, all at 7 p.m.; and Saturday, May 17, at 3 p.m. (matinee).

Mythic Heart Theatre is a professional theatre company formed in 2023 by performance artist Kristi Williamson and visual artist Kathryn Oliver to awaken the senses and inspire the imagination through an embodied theater experience.

Combining song, dance and visual art with the timeless wisdom contained in poetry and myth, Mythic Heart Theatre creates immersive performances with themes that flow with the natural cycles of each season. 

These themes echo the ever changing transformations of both our inner and outer landscapes. Housed in the intimate setting of a charming Maine barn, productions are performed four times a year (Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter).

Also featuring photography by Joyce Tenneson, musical accompaniment by Lisa Diane, acro-yoga performer Josiah Glover and Kathryn Oliver’s painting exhibition "The Wild Rose."
