UPDATED: Belfast Circle K robbed, Belfast Police ask anyone with information to call the department
BELFAST — Belfast Police are seeking the public’s assistance after a robbery at the Circle K Convenience Store located on Northport Avenue. The incident, which occurred around 1:20 a.m., began when a person entered the store wearing a camouflage jacket, pajama pants, a baseball cap, and a blue surgical mask, according to the report. After entering the store, the person approached the cashier, handing them a note that indicated that the person wanted cash, and was armed.
The cashier gave the person cash, after which the person exited the store and fled left.
Police say no additional information is being released at this time.
Belfast Police are asking anyone with any information to call the department at 338-2420.
