RSU 20 returning to in-person learning amid green categorization

SEARSPORT — With no confirmed cases of COVID-19 with the towns making up RSU 20 (Searsport and Stockton Springs), the district has opted to enter its in-person continued learning plan starting Monday, Nov. 9 following the Maine Department of Education removing Waldo County from the yellow health advisory system categorization.
At Searsport Elementary School, Groups 1 and 2 will be on campus, while Group 3 will be remote each day.
At Searsport District Middle and High School, students in Groups 1 and 2 will be on campus Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesdays, Group 3 will be fully remote while Groups 1 and 2 will perform independent assignment work at home.
