The district represents the communities of Appleton, Camden, Criehaven Township, Cushing, Friendship, Hope, Isle au Haut, Matinicus Isle Plantation, Muscle Ridge Islands Township, North Haven, Owls Head, Rockland, Rockport, South Thomaston, St. George, Thomaston, Union, Vinalhaven, and Warren.

Miramant, according to his PenBayPilot.com candidate questionnaire, has owned a hotel, restaurants and a flying service, and previously served as a pilot for Delta Airlines. He previously served on the Camden Select Board, Camden Personnel Committee and Camden Budget Committee. 

Page, according to his PenBayPilot.com candidate questionnaire, previously worked in the frozen seafood industry, in broadcast and media advertising, the hospitality industry and the transportation industry. He previously served as Vice President of Maine Eastern Railroad and Executive Director of Rockland Main Street, Inc.
