    ROCKLAND — Participate in the 3rd annual Fins, Feathers, and Fur: Maine Coastal Wildlife Juried Art Show.

    The juror for the July 27 judging and showing will be Kim Bernard, of Rockland.

    Bring your art, reflecting Maine Coastal Wildlife from a crab to a tern to a moose – what wildlife do you find fascinating.

    Drop your art items off at the Maine Coastal Islands NWR Visitor Center, in Rockland, on Friday, July 26, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m., or Saturday, July 27, between 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., or find a friend to do it for you. You can make an appointment if necessary.

    The juror will select items for the show on the afternoon of July 27, and the show will open that same day, from 4 to 7 p.m.

    Items selected are shown through the month of August. You can sell your art or display it.

    Prizes for Best in Show and People’s Choice for students and adults will be the Visitor Center’s unique Friends’ T-shirts.
