NEWPORT — The Mount View wrestling program hit the road Saturday, Jan. 5 to Newport where the Mustangs participated in the Nokomis Warrior Clash. 

At the event, Mount View finished 11th as a team with 21 points. 

Individually, Nathaniel Fuller finished second in the 285 pound division. 

Below are the individual results involving local wrestlers. 

113 pounds: Davin Barnard pinned by Jayda Stevens (Oxford Hills), pinned Aliviah Anderson (Dexter) and lost to Malik Keresey (Maine Central Institute). 

126 pounds: Morgan Fonger pinned Joe Mosher (Mount Blue), pinned by Grady Reardon (Foxcroft Academy) and pinned by Rachel Tuck (Skowhegan). 

132 pounds: Emma Fonger pinned Aaron Domenech (Nokomis), pinned by Caleb Weeks (Dexter) and pinned by Mohammed Muhee (Deering). 

285 pounds: Nathaniel Fuller pinned Hunter Gleason (Mount Blue), pinned Nick Lincoln (Nokomis) and lost to Colton Carlow (Dirigo).
