BELFAST- The Mid Coast Art Guild will debut a new show at the Kramer Gallery of the Belfast Free Library for the month of May.

The group debated many ideas for this show and decided on the title of "Weathered and Worn.” They embraced the challenge of painting subjects that are aged. Using clever techniques and different palettes, their aim was to entertain the viewers

Many paintings depict everyday items.  If only they could tell their story. Ranging from things at home to things abroad, the exhibit represents a variety of painting styles. The Guild members vary in painting experience;  meeting weekly during the school year, their goal is to develop knowledge and improve skill levels together.

As Memorial Day falls during the exhibit, the decision was made to honor Veterans with a unique painting entitled, “The Way We Were” by Nancy Blatz of Monroe.

The Kramer Gallery is located on the ground floor of the Belfast Free Library, 106 High Street, Belfast.
