Waldo County Sheriff’s Office beat: speeding, assault, burglary
BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff's Office reported the following activity March 16-24. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.
March 16
Christopher J. Cole, 20, of Morrill, was issued a summons for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.
March 18
Scott Swift, 27, of Belfast, was arrested for violating conditions of release and operating after suspension. Swift was issued a summons March 19 for operating after suspension.
David J. Morin, 32, of China, was arrested for failure to stop for a police officer, operating under the influence on Route 141 in Swanville, three counts of assaulting a corrections officer, three counts of assault and refusing to submit to arrest or detention.
Derek E. McLaughlin, 27, of Bangor, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation.
March 19
Lyle H. Littlefield, 28, of Belfast, was arrested for burglary and three counts of theft of a firearm stemming from an incident March 1.
March 20
John L. Lovell, 28, of Winterport, was arrested for domestic violence assault.
March 21
Cody A. Parks, 27, of Winterport, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation.
March 22
Philip LaPierre, 37, of Belfast, was issued a summons for leaving the scene of a property damage accident on Route 1 in Prospect.
David Martinez, 40, of Belfast, was arrested for operating after habitual offender revocation.
March 23
Joseph A. Pagano, 34, of Liberty, was issued a summons for speeding 63 mph in a 35 mph zone on Searsport Avenue in Belfast.
Roger L. Lajoie, 60, of Lewiston, was issued summonses for speeding 65 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 3 in Belmont.
Tyler Winter, 52, of Lincolnville, was issued a summons for operating after suspension.
Michael A. Butler, 25, of Winterport, was issued a summons for operating after suspension.
March 24
Amon A. Morse, 43, of Northport, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation.
Lindsey E. Pottle, 22, of Palermo, was issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance.
