On May 4, at approximately 8:56 a.m., the Waldo County Sheriff's Office received a report of a hit and run, vehicle versus bicyclist, personal injury accident that occurred on Atlantic Highway in the town of Lincolnville.

The injured bicyclist, a 35-year-old female from Northport, was transported to the Waldo County General Hospital and later released from the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  

After conducting a multi-day investigation, the Sheriff's Office located the vehicle involved and arrested the operator Tiffany Hart, 33, of Belfast for allegedly leaving the scene of a personal injury accident.
