Thomaston to close Beechwood Street for roadwork; project tentative start-date Sept. 20

The Town of Thomaston will be replacing two side-by-side six-foot culverts with a bridge on Beechwood Street, near the Warren town line. These culverts are deteriorating and are in desperate need for replacement, said the town, in a news release.
This is the crossing for the East Branch of the Oyster River.
Beechwood Street will be closed to through traffic for two to three weeks, weather permitting. The tentative start date is Monday September 20, 2021.
