I live away, due to earning a living away; but, we’ve had the Pascal Ave house for 50-plus years and I go back many many generations in Rockport. So, while I live away, I was a resident until I married. 

I do not understand this Select Board reviving the vendetta against those who choose to rent out their properties. I live between two short-term rentals. The owners and their renters are lovely folks. They have every right to rent out without having the Select Board charge them usurious fees to pay for their latest white elephant boondoggle desires to change the town into something it never was.

The town voted this down. Why aren’t they listening to what the residents and homeowners want?  Please vote “No” on the articles and vote for different board members, if necessary, to stop this lunacy.

Lunacy/insanity defined as repeating the same action hoping for a different outcome.
