Cap rising property taxes, elect Madison Cook
Tue, 10/13/2026 - 8:39am
I’m writing to support electing Madison Cook to represent the towns of District 39: Belfast, Northport and Belmont, for one simple reason: we need change. Beyond her incredible work ethic, what impresses me most is her desire to represent us all. Most of us who own homes are concerned about rising property taxes, and she’s pledged to cap the rise.
Many are also worried about the cost of housing—for us, for our children, for our neighbors. Madison wants to build the homes to increase the supply to meet demand.
And everyone knows the key to our prosperity is better jobs for hardworking Mainers. Madison wants to create those jobs and train people for the trades to add momentum to Maine’s financial future.
I can’t think of a better person to send to Augusta. Please join me in voting for Madison Cook on November 3.
