Maine author Ron Romano visits Rockland Public Library on October 15, from 6 - 7:30 p.m., with his new book, Stories from Maine Cemeteries-Lives Cut Short.

Romano will share stories of Mainers whose lives were cut short by lightning, shipwreck, disease, and even murder. He will also discuss local cemeteries and tombstones from the 1800s. Come find out why the tombstones from that time were decorated the way they were. Books will be available for autographing and sale.

All are welcome to attend the Community Room presentation. The Rockland Public Library is located at 80 Union Street.
