RSU 13 to close schools for ‘extended period’

ROCKLAND — Schools within Regional School Unit 13 will be closing for an “extended period,” according to a notice from the district, beginning on Monday, March 16.
How long of a period has not been specified.
The district is asking for stakeholders within the district to monitor its website and Facebook page for more information.
An emergency school board meeting has been called for Monday, March 16 in the South School Board Room at 5 p.m. for the superintendent to update the school board on the extended school closing.
