ROCKPORT — On April 22 – Earth Day 2023 — Roots n Shoots, a nature-based after-school program will be holding a celebration of the planet from noon to 3 p.m.

The event will take place at 17 Spear St., in Rockport Village, with activities such as building a bridge and hiking a nature trial, learning how to make wildlife habitats, digging a hole for a native plant, and joining a scavenger hunt to find natural treasures.
