Robert George Weser, obituary
WARREN — Robert George Weser, 77, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2026. Born December 22, 1948 in New City, New York, he was the second of four boys.
When Bob was a child, the family moved to Belmont, Maine, where they lived before moving to Newport. He attended both Camden and Belfast high schools and graduated from the latter.
After high school, Bob got married and had a daughter, Kristen. They lived in Camden, and Bob was always very proud of the home renovations he completed during this time. He also made connections in France and spent some time there.
Bob moved to the Boston area where he met Susan. They were married and eventually moved to Florida. It was in Florida Bob started the company Coastal Furniture Services, Inc. He enjoyed many recreational activities, such as golf, boating, fishing, scuba diving, and as always, driving sports cars.
Moving back to Maine in late 2018 he settled in Warren. He spent much of his time in retirement, catching up with old friends, working on the landscaping around his house, and tinkering with random projects.
Predeceased by his father, Lester ‘Chuck’ Weser; his mother, Helen Getter; and his brother Corey; Bob is survived by his brothers Lester ‘Chuck’ Weser and his wife Nancy of Searsmont, Peter Weser and his wife Denise of Orland; his daughter, Kristen Brazier, and a grandson, Clancy Brazier of Brewer; a niece, Heidi Burke and her husband Steven and their son Corey of Warrenton, Virginia; and his former wife Susan Weser of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 11 a.m., at Burpee, Carpenter, & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Lincolnville.
