People want a town government that is transparent, accountable and fiscally responsible
They say it takes a village, and that could not be more true!
I want to express my heartfelt, most sincere thanks to everyone who supported my campaign for the Camden Select Board. To everyone who took the time to meet with me on the campaign trail to talk about their concerns, put up a sign, hosted a gathering, made a donation, or just shared words of encouragement, thank you! Your belief in me and your dedication to our community have meant the world to me.
I would also like to thank Chris, Sara, and Geoff for their kindness, respect, and professionalism during the campaign. I appreciate the enormous amount of time each of you have all volunteered to make our town a better place, and I look forward to working with all of you in the future. In addition, thank you to everyone who voted, and to the town employees and volunteers who make sure our elections run smoothly. We are all lucky to live in a place where so many people care enough to get involved in the future of our community.
Throughout this campaign, my goal was to represent the people, to listen to the needs of our residents and our local business owners. Having those open, honest conversations with residents confirms, now more than ever, that people want a town government that is transparent, accountable, and fiscally responsible. I will work hard towards that goal.
Although the election is behind us, my commitment to listening to all of you hasn't changed, so please feel free to reach out anytime to let me know what we are doing well, how we can do better, share a concern, or just say hello.
Over the past few months, I was constantly reminded that we live in a truly remarkable place, and that it is the people who make it so special. Thank you all.
With gratitude and appreciation,
