PenBay Showcase & Job Fair will take place Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 1 to 5 p.m., at the Samoset Resort, in Rockport.

The PenBay Showcase & Job Fair is a regional business and nonprofit showcase, designed to bring together organizations from across the Midcoast to promote their work, connect with the community, and strengthen the local economy, according to PenBay Collaboration, in a news release.

"Complementing the showcase is one of the largest job fairs in the Midcoast, creating meaningful opportunities for employers and job seekers alike," said the Collaboration, in the news release.

“This event is about visibility, connection, and collaboration,” said the Collaboration. “Many businesses will be hiring, many nonprofits are focused on awareness and mission-building, and all exhibitors play a vital role in showcasing the strength of our region.”

The Job Fair

While hiring is not required to participate, many businesses attending the event will be actively hiring. According to the Collaboration, last year’s event resulted in on-the-spot interviews and hires. Job seekers will have the opportunity to connect directly with employers, learn about open positions, and explore career pathways across multiple industries.

The Maine Department of Labor will also be onsite to provide workforce resources, answer employment questions, and support both employers and job seekers navigating today’s labor market.

Built From Community Feedback

Following the inaugural event in 2025, organizers made several improvements for 2026 based directly on exhibitor and attendee feedback, including:

•     A new date outside of school vacation week

•     A refined 1:00–5:00 PM timeframe aligned with peak attendance 

•     A streamlined event layout

•     Expanded job fair integration

•     Online payment options, now accepting all major credit cards

Booth pricing remains unchanged from 2025.

The PenBay Showcase & Job Fair welcomes all businesses and nonprofits, including those outside the Midcoast that currently do — or are interested in — doing business or hiring in the region.
