ROCKLAND — The Oceanside girls tennis team collected its first victory of the season Tuesday, April 30 at home against Maine Central Institute. 

By collecting a 4-1 victory, the Mariners improved its record to 1-4. 

Oceanside will next challenge Gardiner at home on Thursday, May 2 at 4 p.m.

First Singles: Jasmine Bouchard (O) defeated Megan Farias (M) 6-1, 6-0

Second Singles: Emma Carpenter (O) defeated Jetta Files (M) 6-1, 6-0

Third Singles: Alexa Barstow (O) defeated Gaia De Germenia (M) 2-6, 7-5, 6-1

First Doubles: Laura Boutin and Lindsey Brooks (O) defeated Anni Myers and Brailyn Vanadesla (M) 6-4, 6-3

Second Doubles: Yeji Choi and Lydia Roderick (M) defeated Jaska Malone and Acacia Dehlinger (O) 6-4, 6-2
