ROCKLAND — The Oceanside girls tennis team hosted Gardiner on Thursday, May 2 in Rockland. 

Gardiner collected a 5-0 victory in the Thursday showdown. 

With the loss, Oceanside’s record dipped to 1-5. The Mariners will travel to Erskine Academy for its next match on Monday, May 6 at 4 p.m.

First Singles: Lindsey Bell (G) won by forfeit over Jasmine Bouchard (O)

Second Singles: Kiara Goggins (G) defeated Emma Carpenter (O) 6-1, 6-2

Third Singles: Hannah Foust (G) defeated Alexa Barstow (O) 6-1, 6-2

First Doubles: Lexie Bigelow and Susie Strickland (G) defeated Lindsey Brooks and Laura Boutin (O) 6-4, 6-0

Second Doubles: Sarah Foust and Haley Smith (G) defeated Jaska Malone and Lizzie Yattaw (O) 7-5, 6-2
