ROCKLAND — The Oceanside and Medomak Valley girls tennis teams hit the court in Rockland on Wednesday, May, 15. 

By match’s end, the visiting Panthers had edged the host Mariners 3-2. 

Oceanside’s record dropped to 1-9 with the loss, while Medomak Valley improved to 5-5. 

Up next for Oceanside will be a home match against Hampden Academy on Friday, May 17.

First Doubles: Katie Ryan and Cheyenne Greene (M) defeated Jaska Malone and Lizzie Yattaw (O) 6-0, 6-2

Second Doubles: Leah Wilcox and Julia Willis (M) defeated Lindsey Brooks and Veronica Kaluta (O) 10-8, 6-4
