PORT CLYDE — Mary E. Lord, 86, died peacefully Sept. 15, 2013, at Owls Head Homestead, with her husband of nearly 60 years at her side,

Mrs. Lord is survived by her loving husband, Frederick Lord of Port Clyde; her son, Alan B. Lord and his wife, Rebecca, of Long Cove, St. George; four grandchildren, Sarah Joyce, James Lord, Scott Lord and Emily Day; as well as six great-grandchildren.

A graveside celebration of her life will be held Thursday, Sept. 26, at 2 p.m. at Sea Side Cemetery in Tenants Harbor. The Rev. Terrance Willis will officiate. Family and friends are invited to a reception at Ridge Church in Martinsville, immediately following the service.
