ROCKLAND — Art by new Art Space member Margaret Creighton, of Yarmouth, will be on exhibit during Rockland’s First Friday Art Walk, May 3, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Creighton shows her paintings in watercolor, oil, and pastel, inspired by the mercurial moods of nature. Realistic depiction of colorful clouds, dreamy yet lifelike, seem to move over serene land and seascapes, evoking memory and mystery.

Art Space Gallery, at 405 Main Street, Rockland, opens its doors for the new season during the Walk, May 3.

Returning members of this 15-artist cooperative will also have new pieces on display in sculpture, paintings, woodwork, metal, and jewelry.

Gallery hours in May are Friday and Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
