ROCKPORT — Maine Coast Storm has announced the winners of the youth hockey organization’s annual raffle.

The big winner of the first place prize was Maria Pease who won a $500 gift certificate to Maine Sport. The second place prize of $250 cash went to Tara Gardner and the third place winner of $100 cash was Brady Winslow.

Support from local businesses is key to fundraising efforts by the non-profit organization, a news release noted.

“Maine Sport has been a wonderful support to Storm youth hockey over the years,” said Bo Hoppin, Maine Coast Storm Board President. “We are incredibly grateful for the sponsorship assistance they provide so our community's kids can be active and play hockey affordably."
