ST. GEORGE — Time and the amount of available tickets are dwindling to see a late February Portland Red Claws basketball game through the St. George Recreation Department. 

As of Sunday, Dec. 9 there are 16 seats remaining on the bus for the trip to Portland on Saturday, Feb. 29 to see the Red Claws battle the Erie Bayhakws at 7 p.m. at the Portland Expo Building. 

The Red Claws, the development league affiliate of the Boston Celtics, sit at 7-4 on the season and are in fourth place of the Eastern Conference standings thanks, in part, to seven-foot-five Senegal native Tacko Fall. 

The deadline to purchase tickets is Friday, Dec. 13. 

Each ticket costs $13 and the bus is courtesy the St. George Rec. Boosters.
