Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases
ROCKLAND — The following cases were closed in Knox County Criminal Court from Oct. 19-23. The Unified Criminal Court is a new system for processing criminal actions and certain associated civil violation actions. It is expected to increase efficiency by eliminating the duplicative clerical workload created by the current system of case transfer between the District and Superior Court by reducing the number of court appearances required to process individual cases, according to the State of Maine Judicial Branch.
Mark Ames, 52, of Matinicus, untagged lobster traps, chapter 25, $1,250 fine.
Charles W. Collins, 36, of Frankfort, violating condition of release, 48 hours in jail; operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, $500.00 fine.
Sandra F. Lachance, 58, of Cushing, allowing dog to be at large, $50 fine.
Daniel Ledford, 25, of Rockland, commercial fishing without a license, first, $316 fine.
Kathleen Lohnes, 60, of Appleton, allowing dog to be at large, $50 fine.
R.J. Tingler, Inc., of Augusta, operating after suspension, $150.00 fine.
Jacob W. Sawyer, 22, of Warren, operating under the influence, $500.00 fine, 48 hours in jail, license suspended 150 days.
Rosalie A. Sullivan, 31, of Orono, failure to register motor vehicle, $100.00 fine.
