ROCKLAND — John L. Hill, 89, husband of Vera VanTassel Hill, died Aug. 5, 2015, at The Homestead in Owls Head, following an extended illness. A full obituary will be published.
A funeral service will be held Monday, Aug. 10 at 1 p.m. at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St. in Rockland. The Rev. Lael Sorenson will officiate. Interment will follow in Seaview Cemetery on Russell Avenue in Rockport.
