SOUTH THOMASTON — Jeffery H. Dorr, Jr., 43, died peacefully in his sleep, Monday, March 4, 2024.

Born in Rockport, January 3, 1981 he was the son of Jeffery H. Dorr, Sr. and Victoria Reynolds LeGage. Jeff was educated locally and earned his diploma from Rockland District High School.

Jeff spent his life on the water, working and playing. He was happiest there and found peace in the call of the waves. When not on the water, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, spending time with his dog, ‘Oreo’, listening to music and attending concerts, playing darts, and being in nature. Spending time with his son, Dylan, was another favorite pastime.

Predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Richard Reynolds; Jeff is lovingly remembered by his father and step-mother, Jeffery Dorr, Sr. and his wife Victoria of Winslow; his mother and step-father, Victoria LeGage and her
husband William of South Thomaston; his son, Dylan Dorr of Friendship; his sisters, Lynn Butman and her husband Adam of South Thomaston, Carlie Knight of Warren, Sadie Knight of Hinkley, Alonna Dorr and Allison Dorr both of Winslow; his niece and nephew, Lylah and Owen Campbell both of Warren; his maternal grandmother, Judith Reynolds of Thomaston; and his paternal grandparents, Judy and Alonzo Dorr of Rockland.

Jeff had many childhood friends who remained close over the years, too many to name, but he loved you all.

Family and friends are invited to visit Tuesday, March 12, 2024, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland.

A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 2 to 5 p.m., at the Owls Head Community Building, 224 Ash Point Dr., Owls Head.
