The Hosmer Pond Association’s annual meeting will be held is Thursday, Aug. 20, at 6 p.m., at the Camden Snow Bowl, and will begin with a potluck supper, followed by the speaker and a short business meeting.

Jason Seiders, of the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, will be speaking on the fisheries resources of the Hosmer Pond watershed. Seiders is the region’s Fisheries Resource Supervisor and will talk about wildlife, water quality, regulations, and how to be good stewards of the pond. He will also discuss how and why the IF&W manages Hosmer Pond in the way that they do, and will then be available to answer questions.

The public is welcome.
