HOPE — With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Geoffrey L. Bosser, who left this world on December 26, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on February 23, 1955, in Rockland, Maine, Geoffrey was a beloved son of George and Shirley (Morton) Bosser and grew up in the quaint community of Hope.
Geoffrey was known for his captivating spirit and infectious enthusiasm for life. An accomplished woodworker and organic farmer, he took great pride in his craft, harmonizing nature and creativity in everything he did. He enjoyed harvesting the fruits of his labor while sharing his love for music and cooking with those around him. Geoffrey was not just a skilled craftsman but also a friend to many, leaving a lasting impact on those who had the privilege to know him.
Predeceased by his beloved parents, George and Shirley, and first cousin Janet Morton.
Geoffrey is survived by his cherished family. Nine first cousins who held a special place in his heart are Philip R. Morton of Union, Deborah C. Morton of North Carolina, Wendie Barberino of Connecticut, Cynthia Nelson of North Carolina, Lawrence Rich of Union, Patricia Rosengren of North Yarmouth, Charlie Mitchell of Massachusetts, Amber Stathopoulos of Massachusetts, and Suzanne Hoffman of Jefferson, along with several second cousins.
In celebration of his life, family will gather privately to honor Geoffrey's memory and reflect on the joy he brought to those around him.
As we remember Geoffrey, let us carry forward the light he brought into our lives, celebrating the beautiful moments shared and the legacy of kindness he leaves behind.
