WALPOLE — Anatomy Trains, a nationally certified school for structural integration, is offering an opportunity for a free series of 12 structural bodywork sessions for Covid-19 vaccinated (both doses before April) adults, with strong preference given to healthcare and other front line workers, at the Anatomy Trains Structural Integration (ATSI) training in Walpole, in April, May and June 2021.

ATSI springs from the pioneering work of Dr. Ida P. Rolf, as updated by local practitioner and author Tom Myers. Ease deep tension, postural compensations, and chronic restrictions via this body-wide 12-session protocol of connective tissue release. ATSI is deep, slow, fascial and myofascial form of bodywork, coupled with movement re-education. All students in the ATSI program are already certified manual therapists, often licensed massage therapists, and are adding a new skill. You can learn more about the work at anatomytrains.com/experience.

Previous 12-series bodywork model Stacey said in a news release, “It’s really been life changing. I found this opportunity, this gift, at a time when I really need to ground. It’s given me more body awareness and a deeper sense of myself. I recommend this with every part of my being.”

Anatomy Trains ran three separate training programs safely in 2020. With improved protocols in place, the certification training follows Maine CDC recommended guidelines for safe touch during this time.

“Keep in mind that these sessions take place in a mixed-gender, open yoga studio setting with students, teachers and bodywork models of varied backgrounds and you must be comfortable with getting bodywork in that setting,” said the release. “We encourage questions about safety protocols, logistics, and the work itself before committing to the series.

You will receive free structural bodywork sessions by qualified professionals who are in training for their certification.
