On Tuesdays Cartooning Club, led by artist James Quigley, meets 4 – 5 p.m. Explore drawing techniques and exercises to develop the imagination: Comic strips, autobiographical illustration, transforming stories to sequential art, and more. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged. Drawing materials are provided.

Thursdays Chess Club meets 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. with Bruce Haffner. Learn thinking and problem solving skills that help in school and sports. Experts say chess is the best way to learn creativity.  And it’s fun!

Participants like Mr. Bruce’s focus on creative puzzle solving. Parents are welcome as are players at all ability levels.

Special sessions for beginners are scheduled for the first Thursday of each month 4 – 4:30 p.m.

Cartooning Club and Chess Club are drop-in programs. Join anytime.
