FALMOUTH — Four area golfers have qualified for the 100th Maine Amateur Championship to be played in Falmouth July 9-11.

Participating from the area in the 132-player event, which will be played at the Portland Country Club, will be Cole Anderson, Nick Mazurek, Ricky Jones and James Anderson. 

Jones has won the event three times (2003, 2004, 2013) and finished runner-up four times (2005, 2010, 2012, 2016). 

Cole Anderson finished as runner-up last year.
