CARRABASSETT VALLEY — Camden native Cole Anderson, an incoming junior at Camden Hills, won the boys division of the Coca-Cola Junior Championship at the Sugarloaf Mountain Resort Thursday, Aug. 24.
The four day event was conducted by the American Junior Golf Association and featured golfers from across the United States, Canada, Mexico and Germany.
Anderson, a Florida State University verbal commit, scored a 70 in round one, 73 in round two and 75 in the final round for a total of 218 strokes.
According to the AJGA, the 16-year-old finished in the top 10 in all the 2016 AJGA events he competed in.
