Five Town Adult Ed fall 2021 continues with online, in-person classes

This fall and winter Five Town Adult Ed is again offering a wide array of classes with both remote and in-person options.

“Class sign ups have been brisk, and several additional classes have been added to meet demand,” said Five Town, in a news release.

The full semester features classes through the end of February.

Among the upcoming classes:

 Standard CPR, First Aid, AED Recertification, 11/9, in person
 Pickleball Learn to Play, begins 10/6, in person
 Independent Publishing, an Introduction, 9/22, in person
 Get Help Creating & Organizing Pictures, Files, Folders & Emails, begins 10/3, Virtual Live
 Birding by Sight, Song and Habitat, begins 10/18, in person
 Writer’s Workshop, begins 9/22, in person
 Computer Tune Up Made Easy, 9/26, Virtual Live
 Beginner Tai Chi, begins 11/3, in person
 Qigong, begins 11/3, via Zoom
 Sewing – Basic Pattern Fitting, begins 9/27, in person
 Carving Wood Spoons and More, begins 9/28, in person
 Mindful Yoga, begins 9/29, via Zoom
 Airbnb – How to Open and Run One Well, 9/30, via Zoom
 Knitting Socks, begins 9/30, in person
 America: Solutions for a Sustainable Future, begins 10/5, in person

All in-person classes follow state guidelines for Covid-19 protocols including 3’ social distancing and required mask-wearing.

In addition, Adult Ed offers many workforce classes, HiSET tutoring and College Transitions tutoring and advising, with most meetings done both remotely and in person.
