SOUTH CHINA — The Oceanside girls tennis hit the road Monday, May 6 for a showdown with Erskine Academy. 

By the end of the day, the visiting Mariners had fallen 5-0. 

With the loss, Oceanside dropped to 1-6 on the season. 

The Mariners will travel to Morse for its next match Friday, May 10 at 4 p.m.

First Singles: Ellie Hodgkin (E) defeated Emma Carpenter (O) 6-0, 6-1

Second Singles: Regina Harmon (E) defeated Alexa Barstow (O) 6-0, 6-1

Third Singles: Jane Blanchard (E) defeated Emma Gerrish (O) 6-2, 6-0

First Doubles: Tara Maltese and Katie Millay (E) defeated Lindsey Brooks and Laura Boutin (O) 6-2, 6-2

Second Doubles: Morgaine Kimen and Julia Berber (E) defeated Jaska Maolon and Lizzie Yattaw (O) 6-1, 6-2
