Downtown Main Street in Rockland closes for Sunday Stroll, July 20

Rockland's downtown Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic Sunday, July 20, from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., for this month's Sunday Strolls Rockland. The event itself occurs from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Rockland Police Department is encouraging drivers to "please use patience when traveling through the city of Rockland, watch for pedestrians and expect some delays," said RPD on its Facebook page.
"To avoid the road closure/downtown, use Route 1A (Broadway) or familiarize yourself with the downtown detour (Park Drive to Tillson to Glovers Passage behind the Thorndike building)" said RPD.
Large/commercial trucks must use Route 1A.
