A winter parking ban will be in effect on all streets and municipal parking lots in Camden, except the Public Safety parking lot on Washington Street, beginning Sunday, Jan. 25, at 6 p.m. and continuing until Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 6 a.m.

The parking ban allows for unfettered road treatment and plowing and downtown snow removal.

Vehicles parked in violation of the ban may be towed at the owner's expense.

Intermittent short-term daytime parking is allowed for business access, but ultimately people are advised to stay home and off the roads during the coming major storm while crews are working.
