Camden approves its one municipal article on Nov. 3 warrant: improve sidewalk

    CAMDEN — Camden’s one municipal warrant article, asking voters to approve an “Order of Condemnation,” with “just compensation,” for 120 square feet at 225 Washington Street, for the purposes of sidewalk improvements, passed at a vote of 2,916 to 724.

    Camden voters also voted for Joe Biden over Donald Trump as president, 2,931 to 832.

    They also favored Sara Gideon over incumbent Susan Collins for U.S. Senator, 2,511 to 1,098, and re-elected Chellie Pingree, with 2,927 votes over Jay Allen, 875.

    Camden voters re-elected Dave Miramant, of Camden, as their state senator, 2,832, with 925 votes for Gordon Page.

    Vicki Doudera, running unopposed, received 3,123 votes, returning her as state representative to Augusta.
