Fitzy Strong! Game night for old friend puts action on the court

Sunday, November 26, 2017 - 07:05 pm

On Saturday night, November 25, alumni from Camden-Rockport and  Camden Hills Regional High School hit the courts to support a former standout basketball player, Brian Fitzpatrick, who is battling liver cancer. Brian was part of the 1999 and 2001 State Championship basketball teams.

There was a girls’ game at 5:30 p.m. and a boys’ game at 7 p.m. Players from 1999 through 2005 participated in the event. Between games there was an oldies Free Throw contest. Some expected participants were Charlie Wootton, Jeff Hart, Paul MacDonald, Terry Fitzpatrick, Kim Carr Kuhn, Stuart Smith, Jeff Brawn, Tom Stammen and more.
