BELFAST — The Waldo County Riding and Driving Club held its traditional first show of the season on Father’s Day, June 18.

Fifty-one classes were offered to riders of all ages with the youngest participant just four years old. Awards included club logo glasses, medallions, tote bags, and ribbons. Cash awards were presented to the Championship class entrants and ribbons were awarded to six places in all other classes. Kevin Crane, judge for the day, gave helpful critique to all competitors, according to a press release. 

The next show will be held on Sunday, July 16 at 9 a.m. at the show grounds located at 190 Lincolnville Avenue in Belfast. Spectators are welcomed. For more information about the horse shows and the club, email wcrdc@yahoo.com or the new website: www.wcrdc.me.
